Brewed in HotGlue
This participative and durational installation allows for the public to engage in creatively performing tasks, and contribute to a growing display. Whether deciding to perform one task over another, or while problem solving, or when viewing collective results, there are many ways the public is invited to reflect upon whether they have satisfactorily “failed” at their task or resisted it.
(I) GUESS THE NUMBER OF BEANS. Table set-up with jars, bean, weighing scale.
(II) TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE BUILDING. Table set up with dry and wet dark rooms. A smaller table has the digital printer. Instructions are displayed on the partition wall. On the other side of the partition wall, string and pegs are strung for the photographs or digital prints to be displayed.
(III) MAKE A LEGO MODEL. Table set up with the 2 lego kits. A small wall keeps the 2 kits separate. One side has the instruction booklet. The Partition wall has a shelf and 2 spotlight embedded as well as a camera on a tripod to capture the model. The image is directly sent to a screen on the other side, which will display continuously the various creations.
