This includes\u2014but is not limited to\u2014demonstrations of novel interfaces, systems, materials, devices, games, techno-craft, and other interactive experiences that are inspired by, blend with, or benefit (from) the surrounding environment. Submissions should specifically describe how demos will invite participation from or otherwise engage the conference attendees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accepted submissions will be published in the ACM digital library. Demos will be showcased at the conference during a dedicated poster-demo session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><b>Format and Submission Details<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The submission should be up to 2000 words (excluding titles, references and figure\/table captions) and be prepared using the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/authors.acm.org\/proceedings\/production-information\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACM submission template<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Latex and Word templates are available) in single-column format. The submission should include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anonymized document describing the demonstration (2000 word limit excluding references) prepared in the single column ACM submission template. Submissions longer than 2000 words will be rejected. This document is required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anonymized supplementary document describing the technical requirements of the demonstration, such as requirements for space, lighting, electrical power, network connections, projectors, screens, etc. The authors should clearly state which items they will provide and which items they would need the conference to provide. Submissions that impose a large or unusual requirement on the conference are unlikely to be accepted. It is advisable to include in this document a photo or mock-up of the demonstration showing the envisioned set up. This supplementary document is required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anonymized video figure (optional, strongly encouraged). Your submission may be accompanied by a short video or by other supplementary material. Video figures should not be longer than 5 minutes. The CHI and UIST guidelines to producing video figures are useful. Video figures should be anonymised as well.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total size of all submitted materials, including a video figure, should not exceed 100 MB. Authors who submit may expect to receive light feedback of up to a few paragraphs in length. Demonstrations that cannot be reasonably accommodated based on the requirements described by the authors will be rejected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demonstrations will be reviewed independent of other tracks. Therefore, for example, if authors want to submit both a demonstration and a poster, the authors need to make two separate submissions, one for the demonstration and one for poster, as described in the respective calls. However, both submissions must address significantly different aspects of the research to warrant two publications and presentations. Incomplete and incorrect submission content or formats will be rejected. Late submissions are not permitted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3><b>Publications Policy<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By submitting your article to an ACM Publication, you are hereby acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all ACM Publications Policies, including ACM&#8217;s new Publications Policy on Research Involving Human Participants and Subjects.
