Cancellation Policy<\/b><\/h4>\n

Up to and including 31st May 2024 the registration fee will be refunded less $100 USD administration fee. After the 31st May 2024, no refunds on registration fees will be made. Please note if you pre-register and do not attend the conference you will be charged your participation fee and will be required to settle any outstanding balances. Notification of cancellations should be made by email to registration2024@cc.acm.org<\/a>. If you do not send an email confirming that you wish to cancel your place at the conference you will still be liable to pay the fees. Substitutions can be made at any time. All applicable refunds will be made after the conference. Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds. Getting to the Conference Venue<\/b><\/h1>

The C&C \u201824 conference will take place in Chicago, IL. Founded in 1837 on the shore of Lake Michigan, Chicago is the 3<\/span>rd<\/span>\u00a0 largest city in the U.S. and is known for its bold architecture, sandy beaches, public artwork, vibrant music scene, amazing cuisine, and wonderful museums. The weather in late June is mostly comfortable with warm afternoons. Afternoon high temperatures typically reach the low 80s F (28 C) and rarely dips below 60 F (15 C) during the night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The conference will be held in the Student Center East at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The address is 750 S. Halsted Street, Chicago IL 60607. The main conference program will be on the 6th floor of the Student Center East in Room 605. The registration desk will be located nearby in an adjacent room.<\/span><\/p>

From O\u2019Hare and Midway Airports to the University of Illinois at Chicago<\/b><\/h4>

Most travelers will arrive in Chicago via <\/span>Chicago\u2019s O\u2019Hare international airport<\/span><\/a> (ORD). The airport is located 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. Some domestic attendees may arrive in Chicago via <\/span>Midway International Airport<\/span><\/a> (MDW), which is 11 miles southwest of downtown Chicago.\u00a0 There are 3 options for traveling from the airports to the conference venue and hotels: 1) the CTA train, 2) a shuttle service, or 3) a taxi or rideshare service. <\/span><\/p>
