The conference welcome reception takes place at Ask for Janice at Tileyard London from 6.30pm to 10pm on 14th July. Tileyard is a former industrial estate that is now home to one of the world’s largest independent music communities, with more than 250 music businesses and 160 private recording studios. People who have recorded at Tileyard London include: Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Mick Jagger, Sigala, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Lewis Capaldi, Lily Allen, Lindsay Lohan, Noel Gallagher, The Prodigy, and Martyn Ware, to name just a few.

We have organised a performance by cutting-edge artists from the London algorave scene including performers from the Creative Computing Institute at UAL. An algorave, for those of you unfamiliar with the term, is a live performance in which music and visuals are made with code, written and changed in real time.

Location

Food and drink are provided for conference delegates and their guests from 6:30pm to 10:00pm at Ask for Janice which is approximately a 15 minute walk (0.6 miles; 1km) from the conference venue.
